Somatosensory Evoked Potentials Test

A Somatosensory Evoked Potential Test (SSEP) is an evoked potential brought about by an actual improvement (normally a little electric heartbeat). Cathodes situated over specific spaces of the body record reactions of the SSEP, these are then seen as a perusing on an Electroencephalogram (EEG). A SSEP can most ordinarily include incitement of the middle nerve at the wrist, or the back tibial nerve at the lower leg. This examination along these lines tests the pathway of the tactile nerves to the tangible spaces of the cerebrum, despite the fact that the improvements are non-physiological.
